Drills
Reading roots, intercepts and turning points of a quadratic from its factorised form.
Author note — to cover
- Fluency — roots and y-intercepts from factorised form, typed as numbers with their signs (4 questions).
- Turning points — the x-coordinate midway between the roots by symmetry, then the y-coordinate by substitution (4 questions).
- Matching — pairing equations with described sketches by roots, intercept and opening direction, where the sign of the x² term is the catch (4 questions).
