Higher only, per the A4 braces on algebraic fractions. Factorise numerator and denominator before cancelling, with common factors up to quadratics, e.g. (x² − 9)/(x² + 5x + 6); name the crime of cancelling terms across a plus sign. Adding, multiplying and dividing are the sibling pages. (A4)
