- Fluency — integer and half-integer scale factors from a matched pair of sides, then a missing length by multiplying, every answer exact (4 questions).
- Application — nested and bow-tie triangle configurations where the corresponding sides must be identified before scaling, whole-number answers throughout (4 questions).
- Catch — problems where adding the difference between sides gives a plausible wrong answer, and a shared-angle pair that is not similar at all (4 questions).
