Demystifying - Column vectors

Drills

A displacement written as a column vector, identical wherever it starts, unlike the position a coordinate names.

Author note — to cover

GCSE vectors are 2D column vectors only — no 3D and no i-j component notation, both A level. Cover the column as a displacement, top entry across and bottom entry up with signs, bold-letter and arrow-over-AB notation, and the contrast with the position a coordinate pair names. Both tiers. (G25)
