Higher only; N8 names rationalising denominators. Clearing a single-surd denominator by multiplying top and bottom by the surd, e.g. 5 over root 3 becomes 5 root 3 over 3, simplifying afterwards. Two-term denominators live on rationalising-conjugates; answers stay exact, never decimal. (N8)
